Jodhpur has one of the better solar resources in the country. Rajasthan receives strong, consistent direct sunlight for most of the year and the region averages well over 300 clear days annually, which is why the state carries India's largest installed solar capacity. For a homeowner that translates into a simple advantage: a rooftop array here produces more units per installed kilowatt than the same array in most other parts of India.
LIUMIQ Green Energy is a rooftop solar EPC company serving Jodhpur and the surrounding districts. EPC means engineering, procurement and construction — we do the design, source the equipment and carry out the installation ourselves rather than passing you between a salesperson, a supplier and a contractor. One contract, one accountable team.
We work on on-grid systems for homes. On-grid means your rooftop array is connected to the JdVVNL grid through a bidirectional net meter: you use solar during the day, export whatever you do not consume, and draw from the grid at night against those exported units. There is no battery in a standard on-grid system, which is what keeps the cost and the maintenance low.
Almost every home we look at falls into one of three sizes, decided by how many units you actually consume rather than by how much roof you have. The starting point is your JdVVNL bill — specifically the monthly units, not the rupee amount, because tariff slabs change and units do not.
| Your monthly consumption | Typical system size |
|---|---|
| Around 250–400 units | 3 kW |
| Around 450–700 units | 5 kW |
| Above 1,000 units | 10 kW |
Sizing above your consumption is the most common way homeowners overspend on solar. Under net metering you are credited for exported units, but the economics of a deliberately oversized array are usually worse than putting that money elsewhere. If your roof can take more than you need, we will say so — and we will also say when it is not worth it.
Each size has its own page with roof-area requirements, component detail, generation estimates and what the system realistically does and does not cover:
Nothing here is unusual, and that is the point. A rooftop solar installation is a well-understood sequence, and most problems come from steps being skipped rather than from anything exotic.

The survey is free and carries no obligation. It exists because a quote given without seeing the roof is a guess. What the engineer is actually checking:
You get the findings in writing whether or not you buy from us.
The central PM Surya Ghar subsidy is up to ₹78,000 for a system of 3 kW or more. The application is made through the national portal and the money is credited by the government directly to your bank account after installation and inspection — it is not a discount the installer applies to your bill. We prepare and file the paperwork, but approval and disbursal timelines belong to the portal and the DISCOM.
Full detail, including eligibility and the document list, is on the solar subsidy in Jodhpur page.
An on-grid rooftop system has no moving parts and needs very little attention — with one local exception. Jodhpur sits at the edge of the Thar desert, and airborne dust settles on panel glass faster here than in most of the country. Soiling is the single most common reason a system in this region quietly produces less than it should, and it is completely reversible.

We are a new company, founded in 2026. We would rather say that plainly than show you testimonials you cannot verify. Here is what actually protects you when you buy from a young installer:
LIUMIQ Green Energy is a service-area business. We travel to your roof; there is no walk-in showroom. We currently take residential work in Jodhpur city and the surrounding belt:
